Fundraising
We’re honored when companies, communities, schools and other groups want to fundraise to support Oprah’s Angel Network.
As a general policy:
- We don’t allow organizations or individuals to use our name to fundraise.
- We don’t want organizations or individuals to sell anything commercially and advertise that the proceeds will be donated to us or to “a charity,” even if our name isn’t expressly stated.
There are many reasons for this. Primarily, though, we don’t want the appearance of a partnership where one does not exist.
We’re happy to accept any monetary donations as long as our name isn’t used to fundraise.
