Building a School in Kenya
In the summer of 2006, the first group of O Ambassadors had the opportunity of a lifetime—to build a school in Kenya. After the group raised enough money to cover the cost of the building project and their travel expenses, they headed to Kenya, and for three weeks worked side-by-side with the community to build a school.
The experience taught the group what life is like for their peers in Kenya, and the challenges that the young people there must face every day. Most importantly, the O Ambassadors learned that you’re never too young to change the world.
