O Ambassadors
Ambassadors of Change
O Ambassadors is a school-based program created by Oprah’s Angel Network and Free The Children. The program teaches young people to become active, compassionate and knowledgeable global citizens. By working toward the U.N. Millennium Development Goals, students learn how issues of poverty, education, health and sustainable development affect people in developing countries.
Throughout the school year, club members:
- Learn about issues in developing countries around the world
- Share what they learn with their classmates and community through awareness-raising activities
- Raise funds to support development projects in their assigned world region
