Summary:
To start an endowment fund providing debt relief for young lawyers and doctors working with poor.
The Inner City Law Center (ICLC) is a community law office for homeless people and poor families living in below-standard housing conditions. The ICLC forces landlords to either clean up their buildings or to turn them over to somebody who can.
Note: The Angel Network Support Foundation gave this grant. Dissolved in 2004, the purpose of the Support Foundation was to support the charitable efforts of Oprah's Angel Network.
