Summary:
To pay for a school bus, computers and software and expenses for pubic policy seminar, as well as start an endowment fund for college scholarships. The Chavez School uses public policy themes to guide instruction and gives students experience working with organizations to affect their communities.
Note: The Angel Network Support Foundation gave this grant. Dissolved in 2004, the purpose of the Support Foundation was to support the charitable efforts of Oprah's Angel Network.
