Summary:
For laptops for graduating senior program participants, a college tour for select students, program supplies and the program's scholarship endowment. Food From the 'Hood uses hands-on entrepreneur opportunities to foster business, academic and life skills impacting challenged young people's ability to attend college and become self-sufficient, contributing adults.
Note: The Angel Network Support Foundation gave this grant. Dissolved in 2004, the purpose of the Support Foundation was to support the charitable efforts of Oprah's Angel Network.
