Summary:
For a van, equipment for puppy yard, veterinary equipment, medical supplies and teen work program stipends. The Assistance Dog Institute program works with at-risk teenagers at high schools and juvenile centers to train dogs for people with disabilities and to create new directions for the placement of assistance dogs.
Note: The Angel Network Support Foundation gave this grant. Dissolved in 2004, the Support Foundation was established to support the charitable efforts of Oprah's Angel Network.
